Week 8 - MKTG 6101 - Class Overview: Digital Branding and Marketing
As I am wrapping up the last assignments for the course MBA 6101: Digital Branding and Marketing, I just wanted to give a little look into my perspective of the major things I took from this course. My first impression of the course was that it seemed very different from most classes that I have taken. The coursework was substantially different, the syllabus was more descriptive than anything, and lastly this class had requirements to be engaged on Blogger.com and Linked-In. To be honest I did not have as much excitement for the class at the beginning, but slowly I started to feel a passion for the topics being taught each week as things started to pick up.
Throughout this course, I learned more about why it is important to study knowledge pertaining to artificial intelligence, marketing strategies, and quantum computing. These methods of learning more of A.I comes from reading the textbook, creating/editing/updating blogs on a weekly basis, and gaining experience at running my very own Ad campaign. Prior to this class, I have had no experience with ever running an Ad campaign. Now I can confidently state how I have experience running one and I can use this skill when attempting to reach out to a certain audience with the help of these tools/platforms.
This class really focused on teaching us why it is so important to keep a balanced lifestyle for understanding artificial intelligence and all the different information that is tied back to the study of A.I. This is why it is more suitable for anyone to take a more committed approach at trying to understand artificial intelligence. Nowadays, it seems that first impressions, customer traffic, conversion rates, and social media are the leading marketing strategies. Data from each of these areas can be analyzed using AI bots and this will help make decision making easier. Already this has caused a huge change in the way that companies will market off their products/services. But Overall, I really enjoyed the class because of how it centers around Digital marketing. The best part was learning more about Artificial intelligence and I feel like this class had more information than I expected. I do feel that this method of teaching is more effective as it provided me with a chance to get my hands dirty and gain more hands-on experience.
