Week -05-MBA 6101- Surfing The Tsunami

 To be able to function and adopt methods of Artificial Intelligence has large importance when trying to keep track wait changes and also maintaining a level of relevance to be held, innovations , and how marketable it is.  In this chapter of the book, Surfing the Tsunami, it is evaluates the company Amazon and uses it as an example when describing a company that released a new product. The company decided to release this new product that provides a mobile, handheld device, with long-lasting battery, and a new ergonomic design.  One design they had was so innovative, the Kindle Oasis, it came out as the thinnest, lightest, plus provide  free cloud storage for any of your Amazon content.  

The book describes how successful Amazon became off the idea of this product they released. I was among one of the people who were around when the first E-reader was released to the public back in the day. I remember that I was not really enlightened to hear about the product as I am not fond of reading. However it did not take long before I noticed that my mom has chosen to patronize Amazon. My mother was a serial-reader and she had a positive response to the idea that some of her favorite Book titles being available via a paper or electronic copy. Not only is this option favorable as it eliminates the long-term process of waiting on delivery shipments, but it also cuts down the prices of these literary pieces. 

This change in production for Amazon is a game changer. I understand that many people may have not been fond of the idea at first because we had prominent places to pick up literature. For example, there are a majority colleges has a public libraries, Local bookstores, and Barnes & Noble is a company that specializes in selling books and popular literary pieces to consumers. 

These bookstores & public libraries also provide customers with a place designated for studying with friends, pick out new books, and learn new information on literature. These stores provided customers with an environment that helps them feel like they are being engaged in the topic of literature and readings. Amazon has the aesthetic that provides convenience to its customers but does that fill the need the customers are looking for?

There is search engines that are used in Google and other websites meant for small businesses. These utilize keywords just like Google Ads, this presents a set of results presented to the consumer. 

Artificial intelligence are what has come into the Hands of more local businesses. It is used for reaching to more potential customers, easily retaining customers regardless of locations, and any tedious workload will now be automated to cover for routine work that doesn’t. 

So in this case, there is a bigger need to be more proficient in Microsoft Office, software that help with budgeting & maintenance management and other various apps. These are all meant to meet the needs of small businesses. And overall, we see that adopting includes staying up to date AI advancements and researching the benefits that can apply to your cause.
